Applications have opened for three programs that aim to support Nova Scotia tourism businesses with development and marketing
Applications are now open for three Tourism Nova Scotia programs that aim to support businesses in the province with development and marketing.
On April 14, Nova Scotia announced the three programs will provide more than $2 million in funding to participants to support their 2021 and 2022 development and marketing efforts.
“We’re proud to once again offer these programs to support Nova Scotia’s tourism industry,” Michele Saran, Tourism Nova Scotia’s CEO, said in a news release. “This type of support is much needed as the industry continues to experience the impacts of COVID-19. These programs have proven results —generating sales, awareness and digital adoption for our participants and the industry as a whole.”
The three programs include the Digital Content Marketing Program, the RADIATE Tourism Program and the Tourism Digital Assistance Program. Each program was offered in the past including last year.
Businesses that qualify for the programs include those focused on tourism and targeting travellers such as restaurants, outdoor adventure operators, attractions and those focused on accommodations and events.
While each program focuses on development and marketing, each one targets specific needs a business may require.
