Avoid Coming Off Like a Jargon Junkie
Biz and brand jargon are like a ghost pepper hot sauce—a little can go a long way. The trick is to make sure every word is telling a story that is informative without being dense. If you find yourself explaining yourself over and over, take a step back and de-jargon with your audience in mind.
That being said, we firmly believe that a niche jargon-plug used in an unexpected way can be just the thing you need to get that giggle and drive engagement. Are we *aligned?*
Right Words, Right Place
Okay, you’re using appropriate lingo for your peeps, but for some reason you’re evangelizing your SaaS product to teens on the latest video app that you have no business partaking in. Keep your messaging focused (duh), but always focus the channels you use for maximum impact.
AKA: make sure your brand reaches your target audience where they spend the most time.
Let People Get to Know You
You eat, sleep, and breathe your business, but that doesn’t mean everyone knows you are *the business solution* that will wipe away…
