YouTube has announced that its first ever virtual beauty festival, featuring huge names in the industry, will be taking place on the 14th of May 2021. Although virtual, the summit will be free to attend. Beauty enthusiasts across the globe will be able to tune in to watch sessions on diversity and equity, a history of beauty on YouTube, and more.
The event will be hosted by YouTube’s head of fashion and beauty, Derek Blasberg, who says: “What started as a small community has grown into the largest style video platform in the world. We’ve seen creators transform from small-town makeup gurus to become their own media empires!”
