KALAMAZOO, MI — “Luxury” apartments will soon be available for lease in a new building in downtown Kalamazoo.
Residents who move into the Warner Building will join commercial tenants including Southwest Michigan First, Stryker Johnston Foundation and The Kalamazoo Promise, according to a news release about the development.
Catalyst Development will soon open the doors to downtown Kalamazoo’s latest “luxury urban living” option at 180 E. Water Street, LKF Marketing said in a news release. Located within the newly constructed Warner Building, the space features 45 apartments at affordable, market and premium rates, the release states.
The new property will offer various floor plans, including 20 efficiency apartments as well as one-bedroom units, two-bedroom units and four premium units. LKF Marketing did not immediately respond to a request from MLive for the rent rates sought for each apartment.
“We wanted to build a community within 180 E. Water Street that is accessible to people from all walks of life,” Catalyst Development Vice President and Managing Director Patti Owens said. “From the very beginning, we wanted this building to reflect the diversity that is Kalamazoo. And its location within the heart of downtown allows residents to enjoy the charm and convenience that downtown dwellers are able embrace.”
