RISON – The Rison in the Fall Festival set for Saturday, Oct. 30 currently has more than 20 vendor booths and food trucks signed up for the festival as it leads up to a free concert that evening from country music artist Julie Roberts.
The festival welcomes applications from vendors of artisan crafts, cottage foods, small businesses and direct marketing sales to set up at the event, as well as food trucks. The deadline to register is this Friday, Oct. 15.
Vendor fees are $30 for an approximate 10×10 outdoor booth space. A limited number of food truck spaces are available. Food truck vendor fees are $150. Electricity is not provided.
Vendor setup will begin at 10:30 a.m. the day of the festival with booths and food trucks having assigned locations on Main Street. All vehicles must be removed by 12 noon.
The festival will begin at 1 p.m. with guests shopping and participating in various activities throughout the afternoon leading up to the concert at 7:30 p.m.
“We have had a tremendous response from our vendors this year,” said Douglas Boultinghouse, organizer for the festival. “We hope those coming to spend the afternoon and evening with us will enjoy shopping, eating great food and a free concert.”
